AN AGED LADY DIES AT ROLAND FRIDAY

Had Lived In County For Many Year--Funeral Today.

ROLAND, Jan. 21.--Mrs. Ingebrit Chelsvig, one of the oldest residents of Roland and Story county died at her home in this city Friday morning at the advanced age of 85 years and seven months. The deceased had been in very poor health the past years owing to her old age. Mrs. Chelsvig was born in Norway in June, 1821, she was married in Norway to Christian Erickson and later they moved to Story county and in 1857 her husband died.

In about four years she was married to Ingebrit Chelsvig who survives her. She leaves a husband and four sons, Lars and Oliver Erickson living in North Dakota, Eric living in Story City and Issac who is present at home.

She was buried today at one o'clock from Salem's church, Rev. Sandven officiating. The many Roland friends of the deceased will sympathize with the sorrowing husband ana children in this their hour of bereavement.
