C. 'Ross' Jones, 82, Dies at Hospital

Clarence (Ross) Jones, 82, who had been a patient at the Story County hospital Tuesday at 11:55 a. m.

He was born in Polk county, Nov. 26, 1869, a son of Robert and Nancy Ann Jones.

The body is at the Ryan Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are pending.

He is survived by four daughters, Verdie Nelson and Marie Simmons [should be Shimon] of Rolfe, Mrs. William Crawford of Bondurant and Mrs. Raymond Lundy of Weatherford, Okla., and one son, Cecil Jones.

He also leaves one brother Eugene Jones of Des Moines and one sister, Mrs. Minta Spencer of Seattle, Wash.
