Mrs. Homer Deal Funeral Services Held In Missouri

Funeral services were held at the Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall, Mo. at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon, July 5th for Mrs. Homer Deal, 49, of Nelson, Mo. Burial was in the Ridge Park Cemetery, Marshall, Mo.

Pallbearers were Harold and Henry Deal, Harold Heymeier, Gilbert Borgman, all nephews; Jimmy eal, a cousin and Boots Witther, a friend.

Mrs. Dean and her sister, Mrs. Rea (Alice) Deal had been visiting their mother, Mrs. Mattie Hellyer in Colo, Iowa when she became ill. She died at the Evangelical Hospital in Marshalltown following a stroke.

Life Sketch

Anna Marie Hellyer Deal was born, December 17, 1912 near Marling, Mo. the daughter of Mattie Bentley Hellyer and Isaac Hellyer. When she was young the family moved to Story County.

She was married February 25, 1933 in Eldora, Iowa to Homer Deal and lived near Zearing until 1937 then moved near Marshall, Mo.

Survivors are her husband, Homer and a son, Carroll and two grandchildren, all of Nelson, Mo. and her mother, Mattie Hellyer of Colo; three sisters, Mrs. Lowell Oaks, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Rea Deal, Napton, Mo. and Mrs. Robert Otto, Clemons; a brother, M/Sgt. Mack Donald Hellyer, stationed with the United States Air Force in Alaska.

Preceding her in death was her father and a sister.
