Mrs. Lafe Eubank Dies At Home Here

Mrs. Lafe (Lena) Eubank, 1319 Seventh St., died at her home Monday, January 29, following a lingering illness. She was 65 years of age.

Mrs. Eubank was born June 4, 1896 in Jasper County, the daughter of Herbert K. and Mary Skinner. She had lived near Nevada practically all her lifetime.

She was married to Lafe Eubank December 24, 1914 at the home of her parents near Mingo. She was a member of the Ashton Chapel Church, the Rebekahs and the Golden Age Club.

Survivors include: her husband Lafe, two sons, Keith Eubank of Nevada and Dwight Eubank of West Concord, Minn., one daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Mary) Nelson of Champaign, Ill., seven grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Ray Tiffany of Collins.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eubank will be held at the Ryan Funeral Home Thursday at 1:30 p. m. with the Rev. Robert Link officiating. Burial will be in the Ashton Chapel cemetery in Jasper County.
