Ames Man Dies Funeral Services to Be Held Sunday P.M.

Funeral services for Clayton Guy Kinyon, 64, of RR 1, Ames will be held Sunday, July 3, at 2 p. m. in the Adams Funeral Home, Ames.

Kinyon died Wednesday at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines where he had been a patient for the past eight weeks.

Born Oct. 26, 1895 at Adaza, he had lived on a farm near Ames for the past 24 years. He was a lifelong member of the Adaza Christian Church and a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Minnie; one daughter, Doris Kinyon of Ames, one sister, Mrs. Dora Pearl of Lohrville and two brothers, Gene of Ames and Wayne of Cambridge. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Rev. Roger Knight of Gilbert Congregational Church will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Story Memorial Gardens cemetery.
