Last Rites for Jacob Lee Held At Huxley Jan. 9

Funeral services for Jacob Lee were held Saturday, January 9, at 2 p.m. at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley with Pastor M. H. Rye officiating.

Solois was Mrs. Selmer Westvold, who sang two selections.

Pallbearers were Sheldon Lee, Roger Twedt, Jean Laffoon, Don Apland, Alex Egeland and Joe Birkestrand.

Obituary

Jacob Lee was born in Vats, Norway on October 15, 1881. Son of Paul and Kari Lee, he came to America in April 1902 and settled in the Huxley community. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Hemmingson on January 9, 1919. Five children were born to this union, two of whom died in infancy.

Mr. Lee died on January 6, 1960 at the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two daughter, Mrs. Grant Olson and Mrs. Calvin Ringgenberg of Kelley; one son, John E. of Huxley; seven grandchildren, one brother, Dr. Hans Lee of Toledo, Ohio and three sisters in Norway.
