OBITUARY
Z. M. BAIRD
Z. M. Baird of Hartington, Nebraska, well known to the older residents of Nevada and brother-in-law of Miss Rose Murphey, died Sunday at his home there after an illness of only three days from paralysis of the bowels. He was a young and very active business man here thirty-five years ago, and out in Nebraska he has been prosperous as an auctioneer and especially prominent in Masonic and other circles. He married Miss Wilda Murphey of this city and he has been an occasional visitor here in the passing years. His only daughter Margaret taught here for a year in high school and is now Mrs. Snyder of Des Moines. He is survived by his wife, two sons and the daughter noted. His death is noted here with great regret.
