LOCAL HAPPENINGS

W. H. Beedle age 61 years, died upon the same farm where he was born over near Ontario on Sunday morning at 2:45 o'clock. Funeral services are being held this afternoon. Mr. Beedle is known to many of the older residents in Nevada being a real pioneer of the county. His father was A. H. Beedle, one of the earliest settlers of the county. He leaves his wife and four children. The children are Arthur Beedle of Yakima, Wash., Homer Beedle of Des Moines, Mrs. Marie Mangus of Waterloo and Harvey Beedle of this city.
