DEATH OF ANDREW IVERSON

Andrew Iverson died Sunday morning. On Saturday morning while taking a pail of milk down to the cellar he was seized with epilepsy and fell, striking his head. He remained unconscious until the time of his death.

When six months old he came with his parents to Story county and settled on the Iverson homestead, one mile south and one and one-half miles east of Roland. For many years he conducted stores at Rolfe, Eagle Grove and Graettinger, Iowa, and he established and conducted the Iverson Grocery company at Roland. About three year ago he retired and since that time the store has been conducted by his son and son-in-law, Clarence Iverson and John Britson, respectively.

In 1889, Mr. Iverson married Miss Mary Alvestad, who survives him. Besides the wife, he is survived by his sons, Clarence and Floyd, and daughters, Mrs. John E. Britson and Abbie Iverson. A brother, Oliver Iverson, and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Sandvold, also survive.

Funeral services were held from the Bergen Lutheran church, of which Mr. Iverson was a life member, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at the Roland cemetery.
