Mrs. Marie Jensen [should be Larsen*] Died at Her Home in Story City

Story City, Sept. 16--Mrs. Marie Jensen* [should be Larsen], widow of the late Jens Jensen* [should be Larsen], died at her home here Friday morning, at the age of 89 years. Death was due to complications and infirmities due to old age.

She was a native of Denmark, but came to America as a young girl and had lived in or near Story City for most of her time in America.

The husband is death but she leaves five sons and three daughters. They are Peter [Larsen] of Blue Earth, Minn., Godfrey [Larsen] and Fred [Larsen] of Winnebago, Minn., Will [Larsen] of Fairmont, Minn., Mrs. Mary Johnson of Collins, Henry [Larsen] of Chicago and Jane [Larsen] and Carrie [Larsen] at home.

Funeral services will be held at the home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. G. L. Bergeman in charge. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Throughout this article her last name and the last name of her family is falsely given as Jensen but should be Larsen.
