Abbie Rainbolt Died at Her Home Last Evening

Special to the Journal.
Gilbert, Jan. 9--Miss Abbie Rainbolt, 51, died at her home here last night at 11 o'clock, after a prolonged illness. Her condition had been very serious since November. She was a sufferer from a cancer and other complications.

The body was taken to the Adams Funeral home in Ames where short services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock, followed by the funeral proper at the Gilbert Congregational church at 2:00. Interment will be in the Gilbert cemetery. The service will be in charge of her pastor, Rev. J. P. Himmell.

Miss Rainbolt was born on a farm two miles southwest of Gilbert October 7, 1884. There she lived until 1920 when the family moved into Gilbert. She leaves her aged mother and one sister, the latter being Mrs. Floyd Bennett.
