THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, July 19, 1906, page 1, column 4. "Ellen Etta, the three month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Stone, died at their home near Churdan, Greene county, Tuesday morning. The remains were brought to Maxwell Tuesday night and the funeral was held at Peoria Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. Q. Gharrett. Interment was made in the Peoria cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Stone moved to Greene county last spring and are occupying E. M. Peterson's farm. They have the sympathy of numerous friends in their time of bereavement."
