THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, 23 March, 1905, page 1, column 5. "Obituary - Bela Edward Stone, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Stone, died at their home south of Maxwell, Friday evening, at the age of one year and two weeks; lung fever being the cause of his death. Little Bela was a bright child and the pride of his fond parents, but he was taken away from them and they are left to mourn. The funeral was held in the Peoria church Sunday at 2:00 p. m., being in charge of Rev. A. Q. Gharrett, and interment was made in the Peoria cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Stone have the sympathy of many friends in their time of great bereavement."
