DEATHS

Elmer Rasmusson [should be Rasmussen]

Services for Elmer F. Rasmusson who died at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, September 25 were held Friday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church in Des Moines.

He was born March 23, 1901 to Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Rasmusson in Story County, an had live in Des Moines since 1921.

He is survived by his wife Veronica, formerly of Colo; two sons, Richard of Atlanta, Ga. and John of Albert City; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Wahl of Des Moines and Virginia Barton of Orlando, Fla.; one great granddaughter and 21 grand children.

Also surviving are his brother Chrissie E. of Zearing; five sisters, Mrs. Martha Allen of Nevada, Mrs. Christine Kline of Iowa Falls, Anna Rasmusson of Long Beach, Cal., Mrs. Pearl Thomas of San Leandro, Cal., and Mrs. Emma Kearns of Auburn, Neb.

One sons, Father James Rasmusson, of Des Moines preceded him in death, his parents, also two brothers William H. of Des Monies and Walter C. of Nevada and one sister, Mrs. Ella Kline of Iowa Falls.

Rosary services were held at Beaverdale Funeral Chapel Thursday at 8 p.m. and burial was at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
