SADIE MUNSON

Mrs. Sadie Munson, 78, of 1525 Stafford Ave., Ames, died at Mary Greeley Hospital Monday, Oct. 8 following a two month illness.

She was born December 27 1894 near Radcliffe and was a lifetime resident of the area, having moved to Ames in 1954.

She was employed in Ames at the L-Way Cafe and the Sheldon Munn Restaurant and was a member of the Lutheran Church.

She was married to Alben Munson Oct. 8, 1928 at Boone. He survives along with two sons, Charles of Ames and Robert of Denver, Ia.; one daughter, Mrs. Willard Wierson (Shirley) of Roland, one brother Carl of Ames; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Lee of Ames and Mrs. Agnes Zielske of Fairmont, Minn., and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services are to be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home with Rev. James W. Asp of the Ascension Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in South St. Petri Cemetery northwest of Ames.

The body will lie in state at Adams' until time of service.
