Lloyd Kumrow
Lloyd C. Kumrow of Cedar Falls was born February 17, 1911 at Radcliffe, Ia., son of John and Anna Greenberg Kumrow. He died Sept. 19, 1973 at Cedar Falls. He attended school and graduated from Radcliffe High School. He was in C.C.C. Camp prior to World War II and enlisted in the Air Force in February 1942 and was honorably discharged Nov. 1946. He was married to Lucille Schaa and they lived all their married life in Cedar Falls, where he was employed at Waterloo John Deere Works until his retirement in 1971.
The Andrice and Creps funeral home was in charge of the services with Rev. Dewey Lampreeht officiating. The Eldora Legion Post 182 of which he was a member, conducted full military rites. Nephews and friends were pall bearers.
He is survived by his wife Lucille and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Helen) Christensen of Zearing and Mrs. (Laureen) Koening of Matteson, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
