Mrs. Delores (sic) Bates Dies at Hospital In Ames on Sunday

Mrs. Delores (sic) Mary Bates, 45, 1107 Iowa Ave., Ames, died Sunday morning at the Mary Greeley Hospital.

Mrs. Bates ws born March 11, 1921 in Benson, Minn. and was united in marriage to Arthur S. Bates in Ames on August 22, 1941.

Survivors are the husband, Arthur S., two sons, James and Arthur, Jr. both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cleo A. Bond of Ames, two sisters, Mrs. Roland Barnes of Ames and Mrs. Carrie E. Barnes of Clinton.

Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Stevens Memorial Chapel with burial in the Nevada Cemetery. Rev. W. L. Bartruff of the Collegiate Methodist Church will be in charge.
