Neal Jacobson, 72, Dies at Hospital In Ames Sat. Afternoon

Neal Jacobson, 72, Route 2, Story City, died at the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames Saturday afternoon about 2 o'clock where he had been admitted about an hour previously. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Jacobson was born December 3, 1893, in Story County, the son of Nels and Martha Jacobson. He had been a farmer all his life.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Gilbert Lutheran Church with Rev. Harold Rice in charge. Burial will be in the South St. Petri Lutheran Cemetery near Gilbert.

Survivors are two sisters, Anna, Route 2, Story City, who lived with her brother and Nettie (Mrs. Emil Peterson) of Route 1, Ames; two nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sisters.

The body is at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City where friends may call.
