George McHone Died Last Night at Home In Ankeny

Cambridge, May 16: George McHone, 65, native son of the White Oak community south of Cambridge, and a long time resident of the Cambridge community died last night at 11:30 p. m. at his home in Ankeny where he had been living for the past two years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday afternoon at the White Oak church south of Cambridge. Burial will be in the White Oak cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Martin Harlan who has been making her home with her parents, Mrs. Carol Lee on the home farm and Miss Arlene McHone of Des Moines. One son, Harold McHone is in the Armed Forces.

There also survives five grandchildren, one brother, Ted McHone, and a sister Mrs. Pence of the White Oak community.
