AREA DEATHS

MYRON G HILL

Myron G. Gill of rural McCallsburg died Friday morning at the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames at the age of 46.

Born Nov. 23, 1926 at Dunbar, Iowa, he was the son of Albert and Minnie Hill. He had lived in Story Count for the past 40 years.

He was married to Marcella Holt on Jan. 21, 1950, at Hiawatha, Kan.

He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife Marcella, his mother Minnie Hill of Nevada, two sons Michael Hill with the U.S. Army in Louisiana and Gregory Hill at home, one daughter, Mrs. Jeffrey (Pamela) Brandt of Zearing and one grand daughter.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Owen Fincham of McCallsburg and Mrs. Lee Zook of Zearing.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Jordan.

Funeral services will be held from the Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg Monday a 2 p.m., with Pastor Perry R. Heller officiating. Burial will be in the McCallsburg Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada until noon Monday.
