VIRGIL CHADER

CLATER -- Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Bethlehem church in Slater for Virgil Chader of Kansas City, Mo., son of Mrs. Louise Chader of Slater and the late Emil Chader. Rev. Paul Harris, pastor of the Methodist church officiated. Rev. Harris and Mrs. Lester Becker were soloists. Interment was in the Slater cemetery.

Virgil Chader died late Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 10 following brain surgery performed Monday morning. He never regained consciousness.

Obituary

Virgil attended school in Slater and graduated from high school here in 1924. He had made his home in Kansas City for many years where he was employed as construction examiner for the Federal Housing Administration in the Kansas City area. He was 52 years of age.

Survivors include his wife, the former Dorothy Mays; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Blanche) Buckley of Des Moines; a son, Keith of Kansas City; two grandchildren, Lynn and Jay Buckley, his mother, Mrs. Louise Chader and a sister, Eunice Chader, both of Slater; three brothers, Ward of Madrid and Merle and Shelby of Slater.
