Railsback Rites Here Thursday

NEVADA--Funeral services for Hadley E. Railsback were held from the Ryan Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Robert Link at the Nevada E.U.B. church officiating.

Mrs. Howard Erickson sang two numbers "In the Garden" and "Old Rugged Cross," accompanied by Miss Beula Settle at the organ.

The casket bearers were Harry Angle, Lee Corbin, Iver Cook, L. D. Harmon, Guy Selby and Harold Tipton.

Burial was in the Nevada cemetery.

Obituary

On March 7 1875 Hadley Enoch Railsback was born to William and Maria Brown Railsback in Harrison County, Mo.

His parents moved to Morton County, Kans. when he was a child and there he grew up.

On March 11, 1906 Hadley Enoch Railsback and Lulu J. Lockard were united in holy wedlock. In October of that same year this young couple moved to Colorado to settle on a homestead where they spent 47 happy years.

The home was blest with the arrival of two children, Henry Everett, now of Ellensburg, Wash. and Hazel M. Flynn, now of Fernald, Iowa.

Hadley had been a member of the Yuma, Colo. Methodist church for 15 years, and attended the Nevada E.U.B. church since living here.

Hadley Railsback died Aug. 11, 1958 at 5:30 p. m. at the age of 83.

Preceding him in death were his parents, 6 brothers and one sister.

Surviving him are his wife, Lulu, his son, Everett, his daughter Hazel, three grandchildren, Floyd Railsback, Corpus Christi, Tex., Karan Selby of Azusa, Calif. and Galen Flynn of Fernald. Also three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Those here from a distance for the funeral of Hadley E. Railsback, were the son, Everett Railsback of Ellensburg, Wash., the grandson, A. M. Floyd Railsback of Corpus Christi, Tex., where he is stationed in service and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young, a nephew and niece from Joes, Colo., also Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Rhodes of Baynard, and Mr. and Mrs. James Flynn of Ames.
