Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Olinger

Maxwell, March 4 - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary C. Olinger were held Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock with Rev. B. H. Guthrie in charge. A male quartette, composed of Ross and Clair Olinger, Dale and Clark John sang "The Old Rugged Cross," "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Good Night" accompanied by Mrs. Wm. Trotter at the piano.Pall bearers were L. G. Scott, J. B. Scott, Glen Scott, Edwin Olinger, Paul Olinger and V. O. Ray. Burial was in the Maxwell cemetery at the side of her husband, the late Phillip Olinger.
Mary C. Sargent was born February 17, 1856 in Ohio and passed away at her home February 27, 1935 at the age of 79 years and 10 days. She was united in marriage to Phillip Olinger in Greenfield, Indiana on December 25, 1871. They came to Maxwell in 1902 and spent the remaining years of their life except for about three years in 1922. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Mary Brown of San Francisco, Cal. and a nephew Wm. Sargent of Indianapolis, Indiana and a host of reltives and friends.
