Ruth Arlene Mullihan Of Collins Died This Morning

Collins, Dec. 27: Ruth Arlene Mullihan, 20, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Mullihan of north of Collins, passed away at 4 a. m. this morning at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines. Her illness dated back to October.

Born August 4, 1925 in Jasper county she grew to womanhood in the Collins community. She graduated from the Collins high school in 1943 and from the Capital City Commercial College in Des Moines in 1944.

She had been an employee of the Employers Mutual Casualty company in Des Moines until the time of her illness.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the Collins Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Santiago cemetery north Mitchellville.

Surviving are the parent and one brother Harold and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. j. Streeter of Des Moines. One sister died a year ago.
