Funeral Rites for Elmer Nokes Saturday

Funeral services for Elmer Nokes, 79, longtime Nevada citizen, who died at his home on Sixth street Thursday, will be held at the Lilly-Bishop Funeral Chapel Saturday afternoon at 2:30, with Rev. Theo. Yackel of the Nevada Evangelical church in charge. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. Nokes' remains may be visited until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be made in the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. Nokes has been a local resident for the past 78 years. He celebrated his 56th wedding anniversary recently.

Besides his wife, he is survived by Mrs. Eva Tetwiler, Adrian, Ore., a daughter, and by two sons, Frank Nokes of Lake Crystal, Minn., and Ray Nokes of San Diego, Calif.
