Obituary of Mrs. Ingrid Larsen

Mrs. Ingrid K. Larsen was born Nov. 17, 1899 at Fiscus, Shelby County, Iowa and fell asleep June 26, 1946 at the Mercy Hospital, Des Moines. She graduated from the academy in 1924 at the Theological Seminary, Hutchinson, Minnesota. On June 7, 1925 she was united in marriage to C. A. Larson, and the same year they went to India as missionaries where they labored until 1940 when Elder Larsen's health necessitated their return to the United States. Some time after returning they made their home in Nevada, Iowa where Elder Larsen is pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist church. Mrs. Larsen became ill three years ago and underwent sever major operations, but she never fully recovered. Three weeks before her death her condition became worse, and although the best of medical help was sought, she did not recover.

She leaves to mourn her husband and daughter, Esther, and also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Christiansen of Shelby County, Iowa, a sister, Nora Christiansen of Kinbalton, Iowa, a brother of Silver Springs, Maryland, and a brother of Council Bluffs, Iowa beside many other relatives and friends. Two sisters, Carrie and Ida preceeded her in death.

Interment was made at Jacksonville, Iowa, near her home. Pastor C. E. Sandefur of Des Moines officiated.
