Last Rites Held for Mrs. Koepple, Zearing

Zearing, March 26 -- Funeral service for Mrs. Ray Keopple was held at the Evangelical United Brethren church in Zearing Sunday with Rev. C. L. Fuller in charge. The pallbearers were Frank Tett, Charles Kleespie, Ray Hawk, Charles Malliett, John Kinsall and Lee Bodensteiner. Mesdames John Upchurch and Harry Martin, Carroll Bailey and Glen McBride sang the hymns. Mrs. John Tysdale and Mrs. Guy Clatterbuck were in charge of the flowers.

The following obituary was read by the officiating minister. Anna Maude Albright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Albright, was born June 7, 1882, in Iowa county. In infancy she moved with her parents to Johnson county. In 1898 the family moved to the farm north of Zearing and in 1908 they moved into Zearing where the parents later died. On June 17, 1923, Miss Albright married Ray Keopple, spending almost 24 years of married life with him. In youth she united with the Evangelical United Brethren church. She was a faithful and earnest christian and member of her church until her death at 8:45 p. m., March 12, 1947, at the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown where she had been a patient for 12 days.

Surviving are her husband and her brother, U. M. Albright, of Litchfield and her sister, Mrs. Cora Harmon, of Zearing.

Money was given for missions and the Western Old People's home at Cedar Falls by relatives friends and neighbors in memory of Mrs. Keopple.

The relatives from a distance attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Couser and daughter, Elaine, and son, Eugene, of Forrest City, Minn.; U. M. Albright of Paynesville, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Albright of Jefferson; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Albright and children of Brookings, S. D.; Mr. and Mrs. Smith of Coon Rapids and others.
