Hold Final Rites For Mrs. Charles Perin

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Collins Methodist church for Mrs. Charles Perin, who passed away last Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Perin, near Roland. Services were in charge of the Rev. Paul Varce, pastor of the Collins Evangelical United Brethren church who took his text from Luke 12:40. He was assisted by the Rev. A. V. Weigel, pastor of the Methodist church.

Music was furnished by Mrs. Marion Burk and Mrs. Meyer Brekke, with Mrs. C. R. Stone as pianist. Songs were "I've Anchored My Soul, " "Good Night and Good Morning" and "Face to Face."

The floral offerings were cared for by Mrs. Ray Evans and Mrs. R. W. Vasey.

Pallbearers were Forrest Pointer, George Jacobsen, Marion Burk, Allen Struthers, Milton Hale and Meyer Brekke.

Interment was in Union Chapel cemetery near Ira.

Obituary

Mrs. Ollie Perin was born in Jasper county, Iowa, Jan. 21, 1882, and passed away on her 67th birthday, Jan. 21, 1949, at the home of Mr. and Art Perin near Roland.

She lived near Baxter until her marriage to Charles Perin, April 10, 1918. They have lived in Collins for 32 years. While health permitted she attended the United Brethren church.

Mrs. Perin had been ill for more than a year and was a very patient sufferer. All love and kindness was shown her during her illness, and her passing was calm and peaceful.

Survivors

She is survived by her husband, Charles Perin of Collins, now at the home of nephew, Arthur Perin, four sisters, Mrs. C. M. Edwards and Mrs. Fannie Edwards of Des Moines, Mrs. Jay Hall of Bondurant, Mrs. Lucy Riggall of Ira, one brother, Elmer Zimmerman of Ira, two nieces and five nephews. She also leaves other loved ones and a host of friends.
