Area Deaths

CECIL NAGLE

Cecil Ruth Hurley Nagle, 77, of Long Term Care, Story County Hospital, died August 30 at the hospital. She had lived there since 1977.

She was born at Luther, Iowa on Feb. 6, 1903, the daughter of Fred and Elsie Zenor Hurley. She married Farley F. Nagle, who preceded her in death August 13, 1973.

She lived in Ames for 38 years and in Des Moines from 1963 to 1977.

She is survived by two sons, Harold Nagle of Ames and Paul Nagle of Ames; five daughters, Bea Taylor of Ames, Shirley Janssen of Nevada, Jean Dawson of Des Moines, Patricia Sansgaard of Nevada, Sandra Jensen of Landcaster, Calif.; two brothers, Clarence Alsin of Kansas City, Mo. and Ralph Alsin of Madrid; one sister Gladys Heotis of Independence, Mo; 24 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 1:30 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home in Ames with Rev. Cecil A. Wells officiating. Burial will follow at the Story Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Adams Funeral Home from today till time of service.
