Maul Rites Observed Dec. 11th

Funeral services were held at the Larson Funeral Home in Story city on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs. Isadore Wier Maul with the Rev. C. R. Ziettlow of the Grace EUB Church in charge. Music for the service was furnished by Mrs. Luther Matson as the soloist with Mrs. Alfred Jacobson at the organ.

Pall bearers were Clifton A. Wier, Vernon Matson, Eugene Matson, Elwyn Myhre, Duane Smith and Milo Hausner.

Burial was in the Story City Municipal cemetery with the Larson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Biography

Mrs. Maul, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Wier was born on March 13, 1889 and died in Denver, Colorado on December 7.

She was united in marriage to William B. Maul in New York, N. Y. in 1918. No children were born to this union.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1946. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include one brother, Charles W. Wier of Story city, two sisters, Mrs. Luella J. Sheffield of Oskaloosa and Mrs. Lois Chalfant of Nevada, three nieces and one nephew.
