Belinda Enderson Dies in Story City at Age 99

Mrs. Belinda Enderson who was 99 in Augusts, died today, (Friday) at the Story City Sunset Home.

Mrs. Enderson was born in Oorway, Europe, and came to the United States as a bride when she was 22. She and her husband Omen farmed in the Clear Lake township and the Ellsworth township in Hamilton county until 1918 when Omen retired and moved to Story City.

She was an active member in the Story City Bethel Lutheran Church and had been president of a woman's club there for 20 years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City, with the Rev. H. T. Masted of Story City and the Rev. Olaf Holen of Ames officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Larson Funeral Home, Story City, until 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Survivors include four sons: Andrew and Thomas of Story City, Rev. Jacob Enderson of Whalen, Minn. and Isaac of Blue Earth, Minn. Four daughters: Mrs. Bertha Hanson of Roland, Mrs. Isabelle Madson of Story City, Mrs. Julia Swenson of Story City and Mrs. Franklin Paulson of Ames, also survive.

Other survivors are 37 grandchildren, 95 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
