SARA PAULSON

Sara Paulson, 80, of Story City, died Saturday afternoon August 16 at Mary Greeley Hospital, Ames.

She was born Oct. 13 1899, in Hamilton County, the daughter of Omen and Belinda Enderson. On March 28, 1923, she married Franklin N. Paulson. They farmed in the Stanhope and Story City area until 1958 when they moved to Ames.

In 1966, they moved to Story City.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin; three sons, Duane Paulson of Roland, Don Paulson of Ames, and Roger Paulson of Hampton; two daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Art) Doan of Bowie, M. D., and Marilyn (Mrs. Richard) Steele of Houston, Tex.; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Enderson of Story City, Rev. Jacob Enderson of Northfield, Minn., and Isaac Enderson of Blue Earth, Minn.; one sister, Isabelle Madson of Bethany Manor, Story City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one son, four sisters, and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 19, at 1:30 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Story City, with Rev. Orville Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Center Cemetery south of Stanhope.

The body will lie in state at Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City.
