DEATHS

Rev. Charles Fuller

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 5, 1969, for Rev. Charles Laton Fuller. Rev. Paul H. Beckman officiated at the services which were held at the Grace United Methodist Church in Story City.

Mrs. Dorrell Doolittle accompanied Mrs. Charles Jewell and Mrs. Sandra Nelson as they sang, "When Peace Like a River" and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul."

Burial was in the Story City cemetery.

Charles Laton Fuller, son of Ambrose A. Fuller and Mary Elizabeth Yerger was born at Beaman, Iowa on December 13, 1886 and died at his home in Story City on July 2, 1969.

He began to study for the ministry at the age of 17. In 1912, he received his first appointment at Green Mountain and 44 years later he retired from active service and moved to his home in Story City in 1956.

On September 3, 1908, he was united in marriage to Margaret Elizabeth Sincock. To this union one son and three daughters were born.

His wife preceded him in death just 13 months ago. His parents and one brother preceded him in death also.

He was an active member of the Grace United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Greater Community Congress.

Survivors include his son, Charles A. of Story City; three daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Lee, Marshalltown, Mrs. Lloyd Trefz, Redondo Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Milton Houts of Galva; 11 great-grandchildren, and 11 grandchildren, Mrs. H. H. K--son of Sumner, who was raised in his parents home.
