Rites Tuesday at Ames for Mrs. Osa Fuller

Funeral services for Mrs. Osa A. Fuller, age 72, will be Tuesday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church in Ames with Rev. E. E. Peters officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Fuller was born on June 3, 1897 northwest of Kelley, the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Soderstrum. She was married to Ray Tyler who died in May of 1925. She married George Fuller on Oct. 11, 1939 and he died in February of 1962.

She and her husband owned and operated grocery stores in Kelley, Nevada, and Laurel, where they were for 15 years.

She moved to 320 South Second Street in Ames in 1962.

Mrs. Fuller died Saturday afternoon, June 7, at the Riverside Manor Nursing Home in Ames.

Surviving are one brother Raymond Tyler of Glenview, Ill. and three daughters, Margaret, Mrs. Russell Childs of 123 Hazel, Ames, Neva, Mrs. Wayne Milliken, 2204 Northwestern, Ames, Doris, Mrs. Milton Sheldahl of Waterloo; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. One brother, Floyd Soderstrum of rural route 3, Ames, also survives.

The body will be at the Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of the services.
