F. L. SWANSON IS CALLED BY DEATH

INTERMENT THIS AFTERNOON FOLLOWING SERVICES AT HOME ON AVENUE E

Funeral services for Franz L. Swanson, 84, who died at his home in the southwest corner of the city Friday evening, were held from the home this afternoon at 2:00 after which interment was in the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. Swanson, a native of Sweden, had been a resident of in or near Nevada for nearly a third of a century, coming out here from Illinois, where the family home had been for years.

He leaves his wife, Augusta Swanson, five sons and two daughters besides numerous grandchildren. The sons are A. L. Swanson and Fred Swanson of Panora and Otto Swanson of near this city, while the daughters, Mrs. Fred Born of Milford, Iowa and Mrs. Geore Eyler* of near this city.
