PIONEER WOMAN DIED AT MAXWELL

MRS. JOSEPHINE WICKARD PASSED AWAY MONDAY--FUNERAL WEDNESDAY

Maxwell, Dec. 16--Mrs. Josephine Wickard, aged pioneer woman of this community died at her home in Maxwell last evening from complications incident to old age. She had been ill but about two weeks.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, at the Methodist church of Maxwell, with Rev. Thomas, assisted by a former pastor Rev. Kight, in charge. Interment will be in the Brethren cemetery south of Maxwell.

She was the mother of Clayton and Edward Wickard of Maxwell and leaves many other relatives and a wide circle of friends.
