MRS. J. CAMPBELL BURIED AT AMES

WAS PIONEER WOMAN OF STORY COUNTY--DIED WEDNESDAY IN MISSOURI

The funeral of Mrs. Jesse Campbell*, pioneer Story County woman was held at Ames this afternoon.

Mrs. Campbell, whose maiden name was Ada Hall, was a daughter of the late Civil War veteran Alba Hall, who lived in an early day on a farm northwest of Nevada on what is now known as the J. J. Tarman place.

She was a cousin of Bert B. Child of Nevada and the mother-in-law of Cecil Webb, former Nevada man.

Mrs. Campbell passed away Wednesday at Columbus, Mo., where she had been making her home with a daughter. Mr. Campbell died a number of years ago and she leaves two sons, two daughters and one sister; the latter being Mrs. Ed Child, who lives in Denver.

Mr. and Mrs. Bert B. Child and Mrs. Francis Webb are at Ames this afternoon attending the funeral.
