FORMER STORY COUNTY MAN DEAD
FRANK LHOMMEDIEU PASSED AWAY AT HOME AT INDEPENDENCE, MO.
Frank Lhommedieu, 69, former Story county man died at his home at Independence, Mo., early today, according to a message reaching his stepson, L. B. Wolf, local cafe owner.
Mr. Lhommedieu was for many years a resident of the Colo neighborhood but left there a few years ago and located at Independence.
No particulars have been received regarding his death nor have funeral arrangements been received.
Mr. Lhommedieu was a member of one of the early day Story county families, his father having passed away at Colo last Christmas years ago
His second wife, who was the mother of L. B. Wolf, of Nevada died in April this year and was interred at Independence.
He leaves besides his three children, Merle and Ira Lhommedieu and Mrs. Fred Linnley of Independence, three step-sons. The latter are L. B. Wolf of Nevada, Claude Wolf of Philadelphia and Wayne Wolf of Des Moines.
He also leaves one brother, Delbert E. Lhommedieu of Colo and a sister, Mrs. John Thorton of Diagonal.
He had lived in Colo all of his life until 1919 when he left for Independence, Mo., where he had since lived.
