Former Story County Farmer is Dead

George Rogers, former resident of this community died yesterday at this home at Aurora, Illinois, according to a message received yesterday evening by Mrs. Claude Post, whose brother Elmer Stahlman married a daughter of Mr. Rogers.

Mr. Rogers was a farmer and lived in the Fernald neighborhood and later southwest of Nevada, during his residence in the county. The family left here probably about seven years ago for Illinois where they have since been located.

No particulars regarding the death nor the funeral have been received.
