WILBUR SHAW DIED AT CEDAR RAPIDS
FORMER COLO GRAIN MERCHANT VICTIM OF BRIGHT'S DISEASE
Special to the Journal.
Colo, Jan. 7--Wilbur F. Shaw, former Colo grain merchant, died at his home in Cedar Rapids last night from Bright's disease and other complications.While it is thought that the body will be brought back to Colo for interment and that the funeral will probably he held Thursday, no definite arrangements have been made as yet pending word from the relatives.
Mr. Shaw leaves besides his wife six children. They are Mrs. Zola Hughes of Chicago, Aaron Shaw of Des Moines, Mrs. Virginia Burnam of California, Mrs. Norma Little of Cedar Rapids and Keith and Frank Shaw at home. A son Kermit and daughter Margaret have preceded the father in death.
Mr. Shaw was for some years engaged in the grain and lumber business in Colo, but later left here and was a Fon du Lac, Wisc., and other points before locating at Cedar Rapids where he has been engaged in the coal business. He had been away from Colo for about 14 years.
