OBITUARY

Mrs. J. H. Kirk

Mrs. Jas. H. Kirk, herself an early resident of this county and wife of one of the prominent residents along the south line of county, died at her home near Cambridge on Thursday last. Her maiden name was Elizabeth C. Warren, and she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Warren who were much respected pioneers about Center Grove. She was born December 30, 1844 and died October 17, 1912, aged 67 years, 9 months and 17 days. She was married to J. H. Kirk December 30, 1869 and they lived nearly all of their married life on the farm southeast of Cambridge. She is survived by her husband, five sons and two daughters, two of the daughters having died in their girlhood or young womanhood; also by three brothers and one sister, and a host of warm friends.
