A Mr. Reed, an aged gentleman who had bee here for two months with his daughter, Mrs. Geo. Lang*, died at her home near the Short Line depot Thursday, at the age of 82 years and 19 days. His home was at Bloomfield, and to that place his body has been taken for burial.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. George Lang" was Loa P. Reed who married George Lang on 8 July 1884 in Lucas County, Iowa.
