Relatives have learned this morning of the death in Des Moines yesterday of little Wilbur Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Smith, who died of pneumonia following influenza at the Lutheran hospital there. The grandmother, Mrs. P. A. Barnes is in Des Moines with the family.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. P. A. Barnes" was Polly Ann Wilson, wife of Wesley Delosse Barnes. Her daughter, Myrtle Leona Barnes married George Burton Smith on 18 August 1897 in Nevada, Story County, Iowa and they were the parents of the deceased child, Wilbur Smith.
