Passed away at the home of her sister Mrs. Bossoutt in Cambridge, Iowa, last Sunday evening about seven o'clock, Mrs. Mary Slack aged a little past sixty-one years. The deceased had been a sufferer for sometime with that dreaded disease consumption. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the house and conducted by Rev. Hicks, the remains laid to rest in the local cemetery. The many friends extend their sympathy to the bereaved ones.
