Death of Mrs. Mary Coady.
Mrs. Mary Coady, widow of the late Michael Coady, died Sunday evening at the home in Colo of her daughter, Mrs. James Hopkins, in the 76th year of her age. Mrs. Coady's maiden name was Conlon, and she was born at Dungannon, county Tyrone, Ireland, in 1831. She was reared in Ireland, and emigrated to America in 1854, coming to Illinois, where she was married to Mr. Coady in 1857. Not long afterwards they removed to Colo, and there lived for the rest the lives. Mr. Coady, who was a man of fine reputation in his community, dying in 1895. Four children survive: the sons John and George, and the elder daughter, Mrs. John Foley, all of Lake City, and Mrs. Mary Hopkins of Colo. Mrs. Coady was a most estimable and much loved woman, and her death is mourned among all who knew her. The funeral is held today at Colo in charge of Rev. Father Nichols, and the interment will be in the Catholic cemetery at Nevada.
