Mrs. Retta Watkins Irvine died at her home near Shipley Tuesday night. Pneumonia was the cause of her death and she was ill only a few days. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband John Irvine and two daughters besides several brothers and sisters and other relatives. Funeral services were held at Shipley Thursday at ten o'clock conducted by Rev. Violet. Interment was made in the Colo Cemetery. Relatives from a distance who were present at the funeral were: E. J. Watkisn od Cedar Rapids, D. E. Watkins of Jefferson, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. George Herd of Palo Alto county and Mrs. Cora Richardson of Rolfe.
