McCALLSBURG

November 12th, 1914, the death angel entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Reid of McCallsburg and called upon the to part with their twelve years old daughter, Mildred. She was born September 11, 1902 and lived all the days of brief life in the little city of her birth. She was afflicted with infirm health, but had qualities of mind and heart that endeared her to her family and to the community in which she lived. She was the constant recipient of the tenderest of care and solicitude from the entire household of which she was a greatly loved member. Fitting funeral services were conducted the Saturday following her death by the Rev. Byers of the Presbyterian church. A large number of relatives and friends were in attendance to extend sincere sympathy spoken and unspoken. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
