Mrs. Sellers, 86, Dies in Boone

Mrs. Margaret Rose Sellers, 86, former resident of Ames, died at the Eastern Star Home, Boone, Friday.

Mrs. Sellers was born in Glenwood in 1870. She was married to John Sellers in 1892 at Colo. They moved to Ames in 1894.

She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star in Ames and a member of the First Methodist Church here.

Survivors are son C. E. Sellers, 823 Burnett Ave., and granddaughter Mary Hopkins Sellers, Reno, Nev.

Preceded her in death were three brothers, a sister and a grandson.

Funeral will be Monday at 10 a. m. in the chapel at the Eastern Star Home, Boone, with the Rev. Robert M. Stabenow, pastor of the Marion Street Methodist Church, Boone, in charge. Graveside service will be held at 11:15 a. m. the family plot in Ames Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Pinnell of First Methodist in charge.

Memorial gifts can be made in favor of the Easter Star Home at Boone.
