Nevada--Thomas L. Sellers, venerable court judge of Des Moines, who died at his home in the capital city, came to Story county 70 yeas ago with the parents when he was but 5 years old. He attended school in Nevada and afterward taught there. After several years teaching in the Worthington, Minn., schools, he returned to Nevada to practice law. he moved his practice to Des Moines in 1885. Since that time he has been one of Des Moines' most prominent jurists, having been elected to the municipal bench in 1918 and having been re-elected for three successive terms. His present term was to have expired in 1932.
