From Nevada Representative March 20, 1889

Word reached us yesterday of the death of Mrs. D. H. McCord, which event took place at Great Bend, Kansas, Sunday morning last. This will be sad news to her friends in Nevada and vicinity by all of whom she was highly esteemed, and by many greatly beloved. To the REPRESENTATIVE household her demise comes as a personal sorrow. The unwelcome news also comes that Mr. McCord's health is much broken.
